2008 Georgia Bar Exam Dates

February 26-27;  July 29-30

Bar Exam Format

The Georgia Bar Exam is administered over two days.  The essay portion of the Georgia Bar Exam will be administered on the first day.  It consists of four essay questions and two 90-minute Multistate Performance Test questions.  On day two of the Georgia Bar Exam, the Multistate Bar Examination is administered.  Click here for more information about AmeriBar's Georgia Bar Exam Home Study Course and learn how it can help you pass the Georgia Bar Exam.

Georgia Bar Exam Scoring Information

An applicant must achieve a 115 (scaled) on the MBE portion of the Georgia Bar Exam to have his or her essays graded.  The MBE & Georgia sections are combined and a score of 270 is required to pass the Georgia Bar Exam.

Georgia Bar Exam Pass Percentage

Georgia Bar Exam's Multistate Bar Exam Reciprocity

None. Applicants must sit for the Multistate Bar Exam while taking the Georgia Bar Exam.

Georgia Bar Exam - Bar Reciprocity

None, except attorneys exams may be administered to certain applicants (contact board).  Generally, all applicants must take the Georgia Bar Exam.
